Pinning is now even more comfortable – with the new "Pin Canvas PLUS"

Further development of our pin boards:
Use of a new canvas material

"Our pin canvases will now be equipped with an even higher quality canvas fabric than before. The brand manufacturer SIHL® now supplies us with a canvas whose weight has increased by 30 grams to an impressive 390 g/m². This ensures an even better hold of the pins!"

"And that's not all: Instead of a cotton blend fabric, as we have used so far, we want to achieve even more naturalness. Therefore, this new canvas is made of 100% cotton. Completely free of chemical additives and synthetic fibers! This way, we also bring sustainability back into focus."

The best thing about this product improvement is: The canvas from SIHL® offers a beautiful, natural texture. The matte coating prevents disturbing reflections, allows for excellent color reproduction, and provides a very high-quality feel.

"What has not changed: Our canvases continue to be printed at a resolution of 2,400 dpi – for a razor-sharp and very readable print image. Professionally created vector files provide the optimal basis for this."

This allows us to offer our customers an even higher quality that stands out clearly.

New evolution stage: With our "Pinn-Canvas PLUS", pinning is maximally comfortable.

"We remain convinced of our concept of throwing overboard everything unnecessary that a Push Pin Map does not necessarily need. As mentioned: With the aforementioned, further developed 'Pinboard LITE', pins and pushpins can be used very well to mark travel destinations. Nevertheless, we are responding to the wishes of individual customers and interested parties who want a real Push Pin Map with cork."

So we set off and tested many pinable materials. And we found a strong solution: At our request, we now use a 10 mm thick lightweight board from KAPA® in the frame of our pin boards. This pinable material offers high stiffness with low weight – and is significantly more stable, shatterproof, and lighter than cork! Push pins hold perfectly in it, making pinning travel destinations a true pleasure. The pins absolutely do not wobble with this solution, which is especially helpful when the location markers are to be connected with a colored thread to map out travel routes.

"Cutouts at all four corners of the board also allow for continued access to the tension wedges. This way, the stretcher frame or the Push Pin Map can be tightened if necessary. Two additional cutouts at the top enable uncomplicated and quick hanging directly on the frame."
