The pinboard canvas consists of a 360 g/sqm strong cotton-polyester blend. This finely structured linen fabric allows for high color brilliance and a razor-sharp print image.
The canvas is stretched over a 2 cm or 4 cm thick stretcher frame made of solid spruce wood. The canvas runs around the stretcher frame so that it is completely covered.
Both the canvas material and the taut tension allow a perfect hold for pins, so that pins get stuck easily without a cork or foam backing .
We also think about sustainability: Printing is done with GREENGUARD GOLD-certified water-based inks. And the stretcher frame is made of sustainable spruce wood from Bavaria - FSC certified.
It's very simple: Our pin board doesn't need any cork! Both the canvas material and taut tension allow pins to easily get stuck without cork. This is our promise!
Our world map poster is made of 210 g/sqm premium latex paper with a matt finish - for a classy look and brilliant colours. It is also tear-resistant and waterproof. We chose this paper because no light is reflected in the map and the poster is as durable as possible.
Super sharp. Crisp. Razor sharp! The poster is printed with a resolution of 300 dpi, while the canvas is even produced with 2,400 dpi. However, you have to note: Since the linen material on the pin board is a finely structured material, the printed image cannot be as crisp as with a paper poster. Logical, right?
Please note: The canvases (cotton blended fabric) are printed on the basis of pin-sharp data with a resolution of 2,400 dpi. Since the printed material naturally has an uneven surface, there may be slight optical blurring in the tolerance range depending on the viewing angle of the screen. This fact does not constitute a defect and does not justify a complaint.

The wallpapering is done with commercially available wallpaper paste.
The surface should be dry, clean, smooth and absorbent.
Our non-woven photomurals can usually be easily removed when dry. The wall will not be damaged.
Walls and ceilings are never completely straight. Therefore, the wallpaper must always be slightly longer and wider than the clear wall dimension. The protruding remains are simply cut off after assembly.
The wallpaper will be custom-printed according to your order as an individual custom-made product. That's why you can't reorder any panels later, but have to reorder the entire wallpaper in a new order.
For the personalization of our maps you have four different layouts / logos to choose from. You can specify the name (line 1), and also determine the subline (line 2), unless you want to leave “World Travel Maps” as it is.
By the way: When personalizing, you can also select or deselect the quote (only applies to world maps).
The text length per line should not exceed approx. 25 characters!
If you don't use an apostrophe in your specification order: We'll add the apostrophe after the name ("Tom & Emma's") so that everything is orthographically correct.
We would be happy to print a company logo on the map. For this individual implementation, we only charge a small surcharge for data transfer, preparation of the print data and coordination, depending on the type and effort. Please send us a request by email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
The color combinations of our map material have been carefully selected and proofed in a lengthy process (coordinated in several proof samples). A color change requires the colors to be checked again, which results in a very time-consuming and costly process.

No, we do not offer customer accounts. You can easily order from us as a guest.
Of course, you will receive an order confirmation immediately after placing your order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation as soon as the world map goes on its journey.
You can change your order at any time - up to the point at which we send an email with the delivery date (at the latest 12 hours after receipt of the order). From this point on, no change or cancellation of the order is possible.
If you want to change the delivery address, you can let us know up to 3 working days after placing your order using the contact form.

All maps are not in stock, as they are made to order just for you. This results in a delivery time of 6 to 8 working days (Germany) and 7 to 8 working days for all European countries.
We usually always have accessories such as pins or magnetic pins in stock and will ship them within 1 to 2 working days.
Since the map is produced individually for you, you can expect delivery within 6 to 8 working days.
The shipping time given is a guideline. In individual cases there may be delays over which we have no influence.
We ship our products with the shipping companies DHL and Go! Express.
Products with a pack size of up to 120 cm in length and 60 cm in width (corresponds only to canvases in the format 80 x 60 cm) are shipped with DHL, products with a larger pack size (corresponds to canvases from 100 cm in width) are shipped we with Go! Express.
Delivery by Go! Express is always on weekdays between 08:00 a.m. and 01:00 p.m. If an afternoon delivery is desired, additional costs of 10.00 Euro will be incurred.
DHL usually leaves a message so that you can pick up the goods as usual at the nearest post office.
The situation is somewhat different with the delivery of maps with a side length of 100 cm or more : Due to the packaging size, we send these with the freight forwarder Go! Express. Each delivery therefore means a special tour.
If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we need to point out that in rare cases Go! Express can charge for the second delivery attempt. Depending on the packaging size, this will incur costs of up to €45.00. These costs must be paid by the buyer before the second delivery.
No, the formats of our world maps are not suitable for packing stations.
We produce our world map with great passion and it is important to us to offer you high quality. You are still not happy with it? No problem: You have 14 days after receipt of the map to send it back to us.
Please understand that modified / personalized world maps are custom-made products that are completely tailored to your needs. We cannot resell them, so unfortunately these products cannot be returned (according to § 312 g Para. 2 No. 1 BGB).
Was the delivery person careless and the box and map are damaged? Then please send us 2-3 proof photos. If the complaint is justified, we will provide a replacement as soon as possible.

Every tree is unique and wood is a timeless natural product that is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity. However, this natural and rustic character, which gives wood its special charm, also imposes certain limitations on the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted. Despite the most careful selection of materials and the most modern production methods, the characteristics shown that can be observed again and again in practice must be accepted with wood. These features are properties of the wood material that cannot be influenced, they cannot be complained about.
In concrete terms, this means: The canvas can stretch over time due to fluctuating temperatures and humidity and lead to warping of the wooden frame. Such cases are expressly no reason for a complaint.
• Place the stretcher frame on the picture surface
• Carefully drive the supplied wooden wedges deeper into the two corners that are not warped (not immediately up to the stop!)
• place the stretcher frame with one side on the floor in front of you
• the picture surface is facing away from you
• fix the lower stretcher frame with your foot
• bend the stretcher frame by pressing the diagonal corners together
• if necessary turn the stretcher frame to the next side and repeat the process until the frame is completely straight
• place the stretcher frame on the picture surface
• moisten the wooden frame evenly with water (spray lightly, do not soak)
• weigh down all corners and sides similarly (e.g. with books)
• let the frame dry completely in a horizontal position
