Even more love for detail

In the first step, we have refined the land areas even further: more detailed contours along the East and West coasts of the USA, the addition of more smaller islands (especially in the area of the Florida Keys), as well as the inclusion of various rivers and lakes.

Update of the US National Parks

In the USA, there are a total of 63 national parks that are spread across the entire country. Among the most famous and popular are Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, and the Grand Canyon. We have refined the areas of all 63 parks and partially corrected their boundaries.

Refinement of the US road network

Our USA map is not intended for navigation, but rather to document your most beautiful travel memories. To give the map more structure and "spatiality", we have significantly refined the existing road network in our America map and added numerous roads. We differentiate between interstates, highways, and byways using different line thicknesses – so you can better trace your last road trip. This also enhances the overview! Of course, the map is still available without the road network, should you wish.

Expansion of Canadian and Mexican abroad

At the repeated request of our customers, we have developed the country bordering the USA. In doing so, we have particularly focused on Canada, as many travelers to the USA often cross the border into Canada. After all, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal are also very popular travel destinations! So we have also added roads, national parks, and plenty of cities here. We have also included a few roads and important places in Mexico – however, not as detailed as in Canada. After all, most car rental and camper providers do not allow border crossings into Mexico.

Number of locations on the USA map doubled

The most significant change: The number of marked locations has been doubled! Instead of 2,400 location markers, there are now more than 4,400 locations marked on our USA map. This should leave no wishes unfulfilled! And if there are still any: We are happy to check before your order whether your absolute wish location is really included in our map – if not, we will add it afterwards. Of course, free of charge!

New map color for the USA Travel Map: Multicolor Classic

"For the very first time, we have developed a map in a color that looks like a classic map. Bright land areas, blue seas and blue rivers and lakes, green areas for the US National Parks, and beige-colored roads provide an optimal overview.
