Push Pin Map LITE ★★★
The robust gallery canvas from SIHL® weighs a proud 390 g/m² and is made of 100% cotton. It is stretched particularly tightly on the solid wood stretcher frame using a special tensioning technique. This not only ensures high stability, but the combination of high-quality canvas and tight tension guarantees easy and reliable pinning: When inserting the pins, they wobble briefly but then remain firmly stuck in the canvas and do not fall out!
And our cotton canvas has another important advantage: Unlike a polyester canvas, hardly any holes remain when you remove pins! Like with a garment, the cotton fibers open when pierced – and close again almost completely as soon as you pull the pin out.

Push Pin Map PLUS ★★★★★
With the Push Pin Map PLUS, we additionally insert a PALBOARD® rigid foam board directly behind the canvas into the stretcher frame. The decisive advantage: PALBOARD® is better than cork! The material is significantly more shatterproof, feather-light – and holds pins taut perfectly. Pinning is really fun this way!
Of course, with the PLUS version you still have access to the tension wedges so that the canvas can be retensioned if necessary.

All map formats contain the same number of locations / the same level of detail. Differences only exist in font sizes and proportions.

Canvas*
390 g/m² heavy gallery canvas made of 100% cotton from SIHL®

- fibers open when pierced and close almost completely after removing a pin – barely visible holes, no fraying (unlike cheap polyester blend canvases)
Stretcher Frame
FSC-certified solid wood, including wooden wedges for tightening the canvas
Advantages:
- Wood from sustainably managed forests
- Stable, shape-retaining construction – the frame does not warp even after years
- If the canvas loses a bit of tension over time (which can happen with natural fibers due to temperature and humidity fluctuations), it can be easily retightened using the included wooden wedges.

5 mm PALBOARD® rigid foam board

The stretcher frame is hung directly on two steel nails on the wall. An additional hanging device (such as a sawtooth hanger) is not necessary.

Packaging
Impact-resistant packaging in a specially designed folding box for Push Pin Maps: This can be opened and unfolded on three sides, allowing the Push Pin Map to be comfortably lifted out of the packaging without damage. The packaging is fully recyclable.
Care Instructions
To ensure you enjoy your Push Pin Map for a long time, we recommend gentle handling of this natural product:
- When opening the packaging, make sure the edges do not rub against the cardboard. We have developed a special folding box that you can open and unfold on three sides – this prevents color abrasion when unpacking.
- Do not touch the Push Pin Map with greasy fingers. Dark colors in particular are sensitive if you rub your hand over the printed fabric. When hanging the Push Pin Map, it is best to handle the product on the inside of the stretcher frame.
- Dust can be easily removed. Use a Swiffer or a soft, dry cotton cloth – without applying pressure.
- If the canvas loses tension over time, you can perfectly retighten it using the wedges inserted on the back of the wooden frame.
