Our magnetic poster is a high-quality ferro foil with a matte surface – slightly thicker than a sheet of paper, yet tear-resistant and very easy to hang.

As an alternative, we offer the magnetic poster with a Canvas texture. Visually, its surface resembles our popular pin canvases. This makes the magnetic poster with Canvas texture not only look premium but also feel that way! This material is almost as thick as a business card and is also tear-resistant.

Both versions are produced using fine art printing – for lines that remain razor-sharp, place names that are crisply readable, and colors that shine. No matter which surface you choose.

Small, lightweight magnet pins like those from our accessories stick to the magnet poster. This is because the magnet poster is made from a ferro foil containing fine iron particles. Due to the thin and flexible material structure, the holding power is lower than with solid metal, but it is perfectly suitable for marking travel destinations with small magnet pins.

If you need more holding power and want to use classic fridge or travel magnets, our solid magnet boards offer the right alternative.

Magnets require a minimum distance from each other to prevent attraction or repulsion due to their polarity. The larger the magnet, the greater the distance needed between magnets. Our small magnet pins only need about 15 millimeters of space between them – allowing for a relatively high density of location markers.

Our magnet poster is the simple and budget-friendly solution to mark travel destinations on a world map with magnets. Only small, lightweight magnets stick to the poster – allowing you to perfectly mark your travel destinations! If you combine your magnet poster, for example, with magnetic wooden poster rails, it becomes a real eye-catcher on your wall!

Our magnet board, on the other hand, is a very high-quality and especially durable solution: it is an aluminum composite panel with a high-resolution printed ferro foil glued on. This foil is much thicker than a magnet poster and therefore has up to 9x stronger magnetic adhesion. Kitchen magnets or travel magnets also stick to it! To hang the magnet board, we optionally offer aluminum sheets or – if you want it to look really elegant – a gallery hanging system. This gives the magnet board a floating appearance.

All Breuer's World Maps are produced using fine art printing (giclée process)—a printing method regarded in the art world as the gold standard for high-quality reproductions and mastered or used by very few providers.

What’s behind it?
The giclée process prints the map at a resolution of 2,400 dpi—many times higher than conventional digital printing methods. The result: finest lines remain razor-sharp, smallest place names are crisply readable, and color gradients appear soft and natural—without graininess, blurriness, or compromise.

Additionally, we use exclusively water-based pigment inks—UV-resistant, odorless, and durable. No cheap colors that fade after a few years. Your world map will look just as good in ten years as it does on day one.

What this means for you:
Whether you admire the map from two meters away or stand right in front of it reading the city names of your favorite travel destinations—the quality impresses at every level. Good design deserves equally good production quality—that’s why we use a printing method that leaves nothing to be desired.

Perhaps the best and most beautiful way to hang a magnetic poster is with our separately available magnetic wooden poster rails. They hold your poster securely, give it a high-quality look, and make hanging especially easy. We offer these poster rails up to a maximum of DIN A0 or 118.9 cm wide – longer rails would have to be shipped as bulky goods, which would make the shipping costs disproportionately expensive.

For posters larger than DIN A0, there are suitable alternatives:

Picture frames
If you want to give your poster a particularly high-quality look, a frame is a great choice. Additionally, it protects the poster from creases and waves.

Clamp rails or other poster rails
Especially for very large formats, simple clamp rails made of plastic or metal can be a practical alternative.

Powerstrips
Ideal if you want your poster to hold a bit more securely and want to avoid nails or screws.
