You can apply our fleece photo wallpaper on dry, clean, smooth, and load-bearing surfaces – ideal examples are smoothly plastered walls or smooth, firmly adhering old paint layers.

What is especially important:

• The surface must not chalk or sand (otherwise the paste will not adhere reliably).
• The wall should be evenly absorbent (prime beforehand if necessary).
• Strong textures (e.g., coarse woodchip wallpaper) can visibly affect the print image – the smoother the wall, the better the result.

For our non-woven photo wallpapers, you need a non-woven adhesive (also called "adhesive for non-woven wallpapers").

Important:

• Apply the adhesive to the wall, not to the wallpaper (typical for non-woven).
• Use a high-quality branded non-woven adhesive and prepare it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• For very absorbent or freshly plastered walls, it is recommended to apply a primer/sealer beforehand to ensure the adhesive sets evenly.

Yes. Our non-woven photo wallpaper can usually be dry removed later – mostly in strips and without much effort.

The prerequisite is a suitable, cleanly prepared surface (stable, smooth, properly primed). Depending on the wall condition and the adhesive used, there may be differences in individual cases – but non-woven wallpaper is basically known for this: easy to remove.

Walls and ceilings are never perfectly straight. That’s why the wallpaper always needs to be a bit longer and wider than the clear wall measurement. The excess edges are simply cut off after installation. The wallpaper is printed as a custom-made special order according to your measurements. Therefore, you cannot reorder individual strips later; you must reorder the entire wallpaper in a new order.

The ocean depths are a matter of appearance – not numerical values. To keep the design as minimal as possible, we depict the oceans as a solid color area. Is that too monotonous for you? Then optionally display the ocean depths: This visual addition visibly breaks up the background and literally adds more depth. This makes the world map appear a bit more lively without losing its clear and minimalist character.

Please note: The "Ocean Depths" option is not available for the MULTICOLOR Terra and MULTICOLOR Topo colors, as both maps already include visual ocean depths.

If a specific desired location is especially important to you, you can name up to five places that must not be missing from your world map. After receiving your order, we will check for free whether these places are already included on the map and add them if necessary. Simply enter your desired locations in the comment field at checkout.
